Credit Report Errors

Credit bureaus and other reporting companies have a legal obligation to report accurate info and to correct every mistake. Yet credit report errors impact 1 out of every 3 people in the U.S. Three common causes of credit report errors are (1) clerical errors- your data is input incorrectly; (2) mixed credit reports- your data is mixed with data from other people; and (3) deceased credit reports- you are falsely marked as deceased and the error spreads to the Social Security Administration and beyond. They don't care enough to stop the errors, investigate the mistakes, or fix the data. But we do. If you’ve been harmed by credit report errors, call us. Learn more

Background Check Errors

Background check companies have a legal obligation to report accurate info and to correct every mistake. Yet, up to 50% of consumers find errors on their background check report. Three of the most common types of background checks are (1) employment- conducted during the hiring process or throughout employment; (2) tenant screenings- conducted during the application process for house, apartment, or vacation rentals; and (3) insurance- conducted prior to issuing an insurance policy to lessen the risk of fraudulent claims. If a background check error caused you to lose a job, rental, insurance, security clearance, or any other opportunity, call us. Learn more

Identity Theft Recovery

Identity theft is a crime. When someone has access to your personal data and bad intentions, they can easily make a mess of your life through unauthorized, fraudulent transactions. Police and prosecutors may pursue charges...if the thief can be identified. But who helps you clean up the mess? We do. Identity theft recovery is the process of using various federal laws to get your money back for fake transactions, keep unauthorized charges and fraudulent loans off your credit reports, and stop harassing debt collection for illegitimate debts. Cleaning up your financial and credit profile after you've been victimized isn't always easy, but it's a whole lot easier with working with us. Learn more

Debt Collection Harassment

Annually, a staggering 30 million Americans have an account in collections. The consumer economy helps billion-dollar corporations profit from the economic exploitation of families facing medical, education, and other expenses. When debt collection agencies get involved, they can face accountability for their own unfair practices in three common ways: (1) aggressive debt collection that violates the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act; (2) attempting to collect a debt that is NOT collectible (like a covered Medicaid or workers comp expense); and (3) attempting to collect a debt that doesn’t even belong to the person they're harassing. We put a stop to the nonsense Learn more

Labor and Employment

Labor and employment violations are common, impacting people across every industry and position. From first job to retirement, hourly to salaried, factory floor to boardroom table, every employee at every age, stage, and level is vulnerable to financial exploitation and abuse. If you know or suspect mistreatment, the law is very clear that it’s wrong. Labor and employment violations include shady practices like unpaid wages and overtime, misclassifying employees to avoid paying overtime, violating health and safety regulations, mishandling tip money, unjust refusals of break or leave requests, and more. When you're at the mercy of your employer, it's hard to confirm or prove that something's off. Trust your gut. Then trust us. Learn more

Employment Discrimination

For those impacted, employment discrimination is deeply personal. It's the realization that no amount of your talent, experience, or hard work will ever be enough because decision-makers at work are mistreating, undervaluing, and abusing you due to a trait or status unrelated to the job. This includes things like race, sex, gender, religion, disability status, sexual orientation, military status, marital status, pregnancy status, and others. It can also include unequal pay, sexual harassment, failure to provide reasonable accommodations under the Americans with Disabilities Act, and retaliation. Not only does discrimination cause brutal economic, reputational, and professional harm, those targeted feel fully dehumanized. Getting justice never felt so good. Learn more
