Austin Griffin hails from Jacksonville, Florida where he has been in litigation practice for over a decade. He graduated from the University of Florida with a B.A. in Medieval Literature before earning his J.D. at Wake Forest University School of Law.
Austin Griffin’s list of honors and publications includes the 2024 William A. Van Nortwick Jr. Pro Bono Service Award (4th Judicial Circuit Florida) and the Shy Godiva: Digital Likeness and The Personal Data Protection and Breach Accountability.
Austin has given CLE presentations on FCRA and FDCPA claims involved in tenant screening for legal aid organizations and tenant unions. He has also been interviewed by local Florida and national news for his work on consumer protection.
Austin Griffin is an active member of the Florida chapter of the National Association of Consumer Advocates (NACA), and has extensively litigated FCRA, FDCPA, RESPA, and related state law cases. He also has experience in employment discrimination, personal injury, and class action cases, including his work in the National Insulin Pricing MDL.
When not working, Austin enjoys gardening, food, photography, travel, and simply living life with his wife Alyssa, their son Rhys, and their two Australian Shepherds, Lottie and Dash.
