Suha Fasih is a Consumer Protection Attorney at Consumer Justice Law Firm.
Suha Fasih earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, with a minor in Legal Studies, from Wilfrid Laurier University. She later earned a Master of International Public Policy in Human Security and Global Governance from the Balsillie School of International Affairs, where she received the Balsillie Graduate Fellowship. Her graduate work focused on human rights, migration, global governance, and multilateral institutions.
Suha earned her Juris Doctor from the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University. During law school, she was a Sandra Day O’Connor Merit Scholar, McCarthy Institute Fellow, International Rule of Law and Security Fellow, and recipient of the Marianne Alcorn Memorial Scholarship. She also received the Consumer Justice Prize for the 2024–2025 academic year.
Throughout law school, Suha held several leadership positions, serving as Vice President of the International Law Society, South Asian Law Student Association, and Muslim Law Student Association. She also served as a representative of the Women’s Law Student Association, participated in the Phoenix Legal Action Network’s Temporary Protected Status Clinic, and was an Associate Editor of the Journal for Social Justice.
Before becoming an attorney at Consumer Justice Law Firm, Suha worked as a law clerk on matters involving the Fair Credit Reporting Act, employment law and consumer protection. She also worked directly with clients to develop their claims, gather evidence, and guide them through the litigation process.
Suha’s commitment to advocacy extends beyond her litigation practice. She previously worked with the Global Centre for the Responsibility to Protect, where she researched international crises involving mass-atrocity risks and monitored the positions of United Nations Member States and regional institutions. She has also conducted legal and policy work addressing Muslim-American civil rights, gender-based violence, Islamophobia, and the challenges facing migrant and refugee women.
Originally from Canada, Suha brings an international and culturally informed perspective to her practice. She is proficient in Urdu, Hindi and Punjabi. Her diverse experiences allow her to approach each matter with compassion, careful attention to detail, and a strong commitment to ensuring that her clients are heard.
Suha’s current practice focuses on credit reporting disputes, background check errors, identity theft, and other consumer protection matters under the FCRA, FCBA, and FDCPA.
