Michael Yancey III is a Managing Attorney at Consumer Justice, where he leads the firm’s legal drafting department and supervises the firm’s team of law clerks. Michael is currently licensed to practice law in Arizona, Colorado, Iowa, Nebraska, Nevada, North Dakota, and Texas.
Michael graduated cum laude from the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University in 2021, where he was a Willard H. Pedrick Scholar and recipient of the Honorable Redfield T. and Susan H. Baum Scholarship. During law school, he served on the Moot Court Executive Board, earned a Certificate in Law, Science, and Technology, and was awarded the CALI Excellence for the Future Award for his study of electronic discovery.
Michael began his legal career as a paralegal at a small firm in South Florida, defending homeowners in foreclosure actions. While in law school, he joined Price Law Group, APC—a national bankruptcy and consumer protection firm—as a law clerk. There, he gained substantial legal drafting experience and assisted litigation efforts across federal and state trial courts, as well as federal appellate courts.
Following his admission to the bar in 2021, Michael joined Price Law Group, APC as an associate attorney, continuing to litigate civil matters with a focus on consumer protection, civil rights, and personal injury. He authored countless legal briefs on dispositive issues at both trial and appellate levels, appeared in state and federal court, assisted in preparation for four federal jury trials, and served as co-counsel in one.
In 2022, Michael was admitted to practice in Nevada and began representing Nevada consumers in both state and federal courts. He also collaborated with a local Arizona medical malpractice firm, supporting day-to-day litigation in state court.
In February 2023, Michael joined Consumer Justice Law Firm. In addition to his leadership responsibilities, Michael continues to represent clients directly throughout the country, with an emphasis on high-level brief writing and trial advocacy.
